Looking at the development of the large-screen display industry in recent years, it is not difficult to see that seamless and high picture quality have become the ultimate pursuit of large-screen displays. In the current display technology, LCD splicing screens are more difficult to impact on areas with higher picture integrity, such as the directing room, conference monitoring room, etc., due to the obvious joints. Therefore, it is also the test period of LED full-color electronic display. Although the technology of LED full-color display is very mature, there will always be some surprising problems in the process of use, so how can we guarantee the performance of LED full-color display? What about safety performance?

LED full color screen

1. Why does a black screen appear on the large LED screen?

During use, we will encounter the phenomenon that the large LED screen appears completely black, which may be caused by various reasons, and may also be caused by different operations or different environments. For example: it may be black as soon as it is powered on, it may become black gradually during the loading process, or it may become black after sending.

At this time, we must first ensure that all hardware, including the control system, have been correctly powered on, and that they are not connected reversely or wrongly. Then confirm that the serial cable used to connect to the controller is loose, because it turns black during the loading process, which is probably caused by this reason. That is to say, the screen turns black due to the loosening of the communication line during the communication process. At this time, it must not be because the screen body cannot be loose without moving the line.

2. The reason why the screen picture becomes blurred when the display is powered on

After the screen controller is properly connected to the computer and the HUB distribution board and the screen, you need to provide plus 5V power to the controller to make it work properly. When the power is turned on, there will be a bright line or a flickering screen for a few seconds. The bright line or flickering screen is a normal test phenomenon. After a few seconds, the phenomenon will be automatically eliminated and the display screen will enter a normal working state.

3. The reason why the whole screen of the unit board is not bright and dark

Check whether the power connection line, the cable between the unit boards and the power module indicator are normal, and then use a multimeter to measure whether the unit board has normal voltage, and then measure whether the voltage output of the power module is normal. If it is not normal, then the power module Bad. Then measure the voltage of the power module, adjust and fine-tune to make the voltage reach the standard.

4. What is the reason for the failure to load or the communication failure?

Make sure that the control system hardware has been powered on correctly, check and confirm that the serial port cable used to connect to the controller is a straight-through cable, not a crossover cable, and check and confirm that the serial port cable is intact and that the two ends are not loose or fall off. Compare the LED display control software and the control card you choose to select the correct product model, correct transmission method, correct serial port number, correct serial transmission rate, and correctly set the control system according to the DIP switch diagram provided in the software Address bits and serial transmission rate on the hardware.

When the performance of the LED screen is not stable enough, we must learn to check whether the jumper cap is loose or fall off. If the jumper cap is not loose, then make sure that the direction of the jumper cap is correct. Finally, use a multimeter to measure whether the serial port of the connected computer or control system hardware is damaged. If so, please return it to the computer manufacturer or replace the control system hardware.
