Earlier there was news that Apple will release three new iPhones in the second half of this year, including iPhone XS, iPhone X Plus and the cheap version of iPhone X. Now this statement has been confirmed by another analyst.
According to the analyst's prediction, Apple will release three new iPhones this fall, two of which are equipped with OLED displays and the other with LCD displays.
The LCD version of the iPhone will use a 6.1-inch display and support 3D sensing. In the second half of 2018, iPhone shipments will reach 80-90 million, half of which will be LCD versions. In the first half of this year, during the iPhone 8/X product cycle, shipments exceeded 100 million, which means that the new iPhone will experience a decline in sales this fall.
